📍 Northwest Georgia Regional Library
Open to Pre-K to 5th grade, but all ages welcome. Monday, June 8 @ 2 p.m. Construction Zone – We will read construction stories and create our library. Monday, June 22 @ 2 p.m. T-Rex Tea Party- We will read Dino stories and celebrate with a tea party. Monday, July 6 @ 2 p.m. Archeology – We will read stories about archeology and create cave drawings, and write in hieroglyphics. Monday, July 20 @ 2 p.m. Dino Dig – We will read stories about dinosaurs and do a dino grid drawing. Monday, August 3 @ 4 p.m. — Watermelon Monday, August 17 @ 4 p.m. — Lemonade Monday, August 31 @ 4 p.m. — Camping Disclaimer: All aspects of in-person programming are subject to change based on health crisis guidelines and procedures.
ARTS FEST Preview Party + Taste of Dalton
📍 Creative Arts Guild
Preview Party celebrates the opening of ARTS FEST weekend with live music. The event offers drinks and delicious bites from some local restaurants. Preview Party guests get the first chance to view and purchase artworks from the juried Gallery Exhibit and the first chance to shop from the outdoor Artist Market vendors before ARTS FEST opens to the public for the weekend. It is also the perfect time to meet and mingle with artists, volunteers, and patrons. Attendees will vote for their favorite piece from the exhibit to determine the Patron's Choice Award. Tickets are $55; Attire is dressy-casual.
