Part of the Off the Rails Summer Concert Series and presented by the Creative Arts Guild, Pops in Burr Park brings together the talent of professional musicians & vocalists, pre-professional dancers of Ballet Dalton, and community members to present this FREE performance in celebration of Independence Day and America's 250th! Made popular by the Boston Pops, "pops" is a collection of popular semi-classical orchestral arrangements performed in celebration of the July 4th holiday by different groups around the country. Open to all ages. Please come join us and see what the Friends of the Library Book Sale has to offer. We have thousands of used books as well as audiobooks and equipment available for sale for reduced prices. Proceeds of the sale go to benefit the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library’s staff, programs, and collections. First Saturday of each month, excluding holidays, @ 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
