Sensory Playtime — Children

Storytime — Kids

Open to Pre-K to 5th grade, but all ages welcome. Monday, June 8 @ 2 p.m. Construction Zone – We will read construction stories and create our library. Monday, June 22 @ 2 p.m. T-Rex Tea Party- We will read Dino stories and celebrate with a tea party. Monday, July 6 @ 2 p.m. Archeology – We will read stories about archeology and create cave drawings, and write in hieroglyphics. Monday, July 20 @ 2 p.m. Dino Dig – We will read stories about dinosaurs and do a dino grid drawing. Open to kids of all ages. Kids will rhyme, learn, sing, wiggle, and dance during this fun time for active little ones and their caregivers. This program is designed for kids ages 0-4, but all children are welcome. Open to 1st-5th grades. Come and learn to make a variety of crafts. Monday, July 13 @ 2 p.m Soil Explorers. Learn about our decomposer friend, the worm, and build a worm hotel. Monday, July 27 @ 2 p.m. Pasta Paleontology. Kids will become paleontologists and create their own dino skeletons out of pasta. Monday, August 10 @ 4 p.m. Pasta Airplane Painting – Color a dried lasagna noodle and use it as the airplane’s wings! . Monday, August 24 @ 4 p.m. Friendship Bracelet . Meet Rachel Smalley, author of "Tufted: the stitch and story of Catherine Evans Whitener", a new children's book exploring the story of Catherine Evans Whitener who helped Dalton become "Peacock Alley" and later, the "Carpet Capital of the World".
